Andrea Biasiucci, PhD, is a seasoned electronic and biomedical engineer with a PhD in Brain-Machine Interfaces from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). He currently serves as the CEO of confinis ag, one of Switzerland’s leading regulatory consulting firms specializing in medical devices, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and combination products.

Dr. Biasiucci is also an experienced business strategist with deep knowledge in regulatory, quality, and clinical affairs. With a rich background in agile transformation and organizational restructuring, he has successfully driven operational efficiency and innovation across various sectors.

He has founded two neurotechnology startups: Intento SA, which was acquired by MindMaze Group in 2018, and braincredible SA, which was acquired by ANT Neuro in 2023. Both companies pioneered advancements in medical devices, AI, and big data for healthcare.

Previously, Dr. Biasiucci held the role of Global Evidence Operations Lead for Digital Solutions at Roche, where he led initiatives to integrate digital innovations into regulated healthcare environments.
